Announcement of the cessation of publication of The Yuriyagai and the start of a new society and publishing arrangements |

8 December 2008 To all readers of The Yuriyagai The Malacozoological Association of Yamaguchi (MAY) has
become the "Society for the Study of Molluscan Diversity"
(SMD) from 2009. With this change, the MAY journal, The
Yuriyagai will cease publication with Volume 10, numbers
1&2 the final issue. In place of the Yuriyagai a
Japanese journal will be published by SMD and we will also
jointly publish Molluscan Research (MR) in
conjunction with the Malacological Society of Australasia
(MSA) as our English language journal. For information about
