From 2009, the Malacozoological Association of Yamaguchi continues as an international society, Society for the Study of Molluscan Diversity. The journal Yuriyagai is continued as Molluscan Research, which we publish in conjunction with the Malacological Society of Australasia. The issue of volume 10, numbers 1-2 is final for the Yuriyagai. We start publication of a Japanese journal Molluscan Diversity, which publishes original research articles, Japanese translations of abstracts of articles, which are published in Molluscan Research and relevant to the society members, and society newsletters.
All the members of the Malacozoological Association of Yamaguchi subscribe to both Molluscan Research and Molluscan Diversity as the members of Society for the Study of Molluscan Diversity.
